Chinese Fried Chicken Recipe Ingredients: 1 cup all purpose flour 1.5 cup cornstarch 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1 cup plus 2/3 cup water Method: Combine all ingredients in large bowl and mix until smooth. Cut boneless skinless chicken breasts into 2-3″ pieces or use already cut strips Put all the chicken pieces in the batter. You may cook right away or cover with cling wrap and refrigerate until ready to cook DEEP FRYING. Be sure oil is very hot before placing chicken. IMPORTANT TIP: wave chicken back and forth in oil before dropping so it won’t stick. Do not over crowd the deep fryer or skillet because the chicken will touch and stick together.
